About me
Hi! I’m Floris, a 26-year-old game developer from Tilburg, the Netherlands. I recently graduated from my Game Development education, and I’ve been passionate about building games that feel great to play and are satisfying to create. For me, game development is the perfect mix of creativity, logic, and problem-solving.
I primarily work in Unity (3D) using C#, and I use GitHub Desktop to manage my projects and version control. My focus is on gameplay programming, game systems, and creating mechanics that are both smooth and scalable. I care a lot about clean code, smart design, and making development tools that are easy to work with.
I enjoy creating small projects where I can test out new ideas or techniques like endless runners, bite-sized prototypes, or even fun little algorithm experiments that push my logic and creativity. These smaller projects help me improve constantly and give me the freedom to try new mechanics without overcomplicating things.
Right now, I’m focused on leveling up my skills, building my portfolio, and exploring different areas of game development through hands-on projects. I’m always learning, always building, and always looking for ways to make my games feel more polished and engaging.
